Description

a small hole on the chest & scattered mottled marks on the back - there is a small hole to the edge of the ivory side of the collar (arrowed) which is more or less hidden when the collar is down

probably the result of attaching a corsage - some skipped stitching down the side of the zip

it is cut very much like British military greatcoats of this period - double-breasted with generous collar & broad lapels

The dress is in good condition overall - there is discolouration / yellowing at the armpits - there is an almost-invisible seamed repair to a tear on the back left of the skirt

discolouration & storage foxing to the linings - the waistcoat buttons are different to those on the jacket but there is no sign that any of them have been changed
