Ford GT40 Mk II-B P/1031/1047 Collection_Peter Stevens Sébastien Loeb and Petter SolbergThis Mk II B GT40 started life as No. P 1031, a 7 litre Mk II built at Ford Advanced Vehicles in Slough, England. It raced at Le Mans in 1967 as part of Fords six strong team entry alongside another Mk II B (chassis No. P 1047) and four MK IV J cars. Chassis 1031 retired after 18 hours, long after 1047 had crashed out. Rebuilt by Holman & Moody, this car now somewhat mysteriously fitted with the chassis plate of the crashed P 1047 returned to France
